These Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”) are entered into between GO&T Your Home, a professional home organising and decluttering service (“GO&T Your Home”, “we”, “us” or “our”), and the client engaging our services (“you” or “your”). By booking, confirming, or otherwise using our services, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms set out in this Agreement.

GO&T Your Home provides a professional home organisation service, which may include but is not limited to: 

• Decluttering 

• Organising a space (e.g., kitchen, cupboard, garage, home office) 

• Providing storage solutions and organisational systems 

• Personalised organisation advice and strategy 

• Assistance with donation, recycling or disposal of unwanted items 

Our service is tailored to meet the needs of you and your space and is subject to the specifics agreed upon during the consultation phase. 

• Booking: A consultation, whether by telephone, or by virtual meeting, is required before any booking is confirmed. Following the consultation, GO&T Your Home will provide a written summary by email. 

• Payment Terms: Unless otherwise agreed in writing, full payment is due upon completion of the services. For sessions lasting six hours or more, a deposit equal to 50% of the agreed fee is required to secure the booking, with the remaining balance payable upon completion of the session. GO&T Your Home accepts payment by bank transfer or cash.

• Additional Costs: Any additional costs, including but not limited to the purchase of storage or organising supplies, parking charges, and travel expenses, will be discussed and agreed in advance. Such costs will be invoiced together with the relevant service charges unless otherwise agreed.

• Cancellation: If you wish to cancel an appointment, you must provide at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled session may incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the agreed fee.

• Rescheduling: You may request to reschedule an appointment by providing at least 48 hours’ notice. GO&T Your Home will use reasonable endeavours to accommodate your preferred alternative date and time, subject to availability.

• Access: You are responsible for ensuring that GO&T Your Home has appropriate access to the area in which the services are to be performed, including the provision of keys, access codes, parking information, or other access arrangements where required.

• Pre-Session Preparation: While GO&T Your Home may provide guidance and assistance with decluttering and organising, the final decision as to whether any item is retained, donated, recycled, disposed of, or otherwise removed remains solely with you. GO&T Your Home will not make such decisions on your behalf.

• Pets: The Client shall ensure that any pets within the property do not compromise safety or materially obstruct the provision of the services. The Client must disclose, in advance of any visit, the presence of arachnids or snakes kept in or near the areas where the services are to be performed.

• Health and Safety: You are responsible for ensuring that the working environment is safe and suitable for GO&T Your Home staff. If GO&T Your Home identifies any hazardous material, unsafe condition, or other risk, we reserve the right to suspend or cease work immediately and, where appropriate, reschedule the session.

5. Confidentiality

GO&T Your Home respects your privacy. Any personal, confidential, or sensitive information disclosed to us in the course of providing the services will be treated as confidential and will not be disclosed to any third party except where required by law, where necessary for the performance of the services, or where you have given prior consent.

• Damage: GO&T Your Home will take reasonable care when handling your belongings. However, GO&T Your Home shall not be liable for damage to fragile, delicate, valuable, or pre-existing damaged items unless such items have been specifically identified to us in advance. You are advised to notify GO&T Your Home of any valuable, fragile, or delicate items before the session begins.

• Insurance: GO&T Your Home maintains liability insurance in respect of the services provided. You remain responsible for maintaining appropriate insurance for your own property, possessions, and personal items.

• Force Majeure: GO&T Your Home shall not be liable for any delay in, or failure to perform, its obligations where such delay or failure is caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to adverse weather, natural disaster, illness, transport disruption, or other unforeseen circumstances.

GO&T Your Home is committed to maintaining a professional, courteous, and respectful working relationship with each client. You are expected to conduct yourself in the same manner. Where client behaviour is abusive, threatening, discriminatory, unsafe, inappropriate, or otherwise disruptive, GO&T Your Home reserves the right to terminate the services immediately, without refund for any work already undertaken or time reserved.

GO&T Your Home may take before-and-after photographs and/or video recordings of the workspace during the session for the purpose of recording the work undertaken and documenting progress.

If you do not wish any photographs or video recordings to be taken, whether for your own review or for any other purpose, you must notify GO&T Your Home in writing before work commences.

Following the session, a limited selection of images or recordings may be provided to you for review. Any remaining photographs or video clips will be permanently deleted and will not be retained by GO&T Your Home.

If GO&T Your Home wishes to use any selected images or recordings for social media, marketing, or promotional purposes, your consent will be requested in advance. No photographs or video recordings of your home or session will be shared publicly without your consent.

Either party may terminate this Agreement by providing written notice to the other party. In the event of termination, you shall remain liable for payment for all services performed up to the date of termination, together with any costs or expenses properly incurred.

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

The parties agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear and determine any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement, its subject matter, or its formation.

GO&T Your Home reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

Any amendments will be communicated to you and will take effect from the date specified in the notice of amendment. Continued use of the services following notification of any amendment shall constitute acceptance of the amended Terms and Conditions.

12. Signatures
