Competition Terms and Conditions

By entering the Free 4-Hour Declutter Service Competition (the "Competition"), you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility

• The Competition is open to residents of the Colchester area, within a 10-mile radius, aged 18 or over, except employees of GO&T Your Home (the "Organiser") and immediate families.
• Participants must have a social media account or valid contact email to be able to receive notifications regarding the Competition.

2. Competition Entry

• To enter the Competition, you must:
  1. Like the official GO&T Your Home Instagram page (@goatyourhome).
  2. Share the Competition post on your Instagram feed or stories.
  3. Tag @goatyourhome in your post (on Instagram).

• The Competition will begin on 21st April 2025 and close on 4th May 2025. Entries submitted after the closing date will not be considered.

3. Prize Details

• The winner will receive a free 4-hour decluttering service provided by GO&T Your Home.
• The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other services.
• The decluttering service will take place on 26th May 2025 at a mutually agreed time.
• The service must be used on the date above and is subject to availability. If the winner is unavailable on this date, the prize will be forfeited.
• The decluttering service includes only the time spent decluttering the designated area within the 4-hour limit. Any additional services or time needed will be subject to additional charges at the rate of £35 per hour.

4. Storage Boxes and Materials

• Storage boxes and other organisational materials (such as baskets, bins, etc.) can be provided by GO&T Your Home at an additional cost. 
• There is no requirement to buy such storage before, during or after our session.

5. Winner Selection

• The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received.
• The winner will be selected on 5th May 2025 and notified via Instagram direct message.
• The winner must respond to the notification within 3 days. If the winner does not respond within this time frame, the prize will be forfeited, and a new winner will be selected.

6. Service Terms and Conditions

• The decluttering service is available only within a 10-mile radius of Colchester, Essex, UK. If the winner is located outside this area, the prize will be forfeited.
• The service will be scheduled for 26th May 2025 at a mutually agreed time. The winner must confirm the scheduled time at least 7 days in advance.
• The service will take place on a residential property only. Commercial or business locations are not eligible for the service.
• The winner must provide a safe and accessible environment for the decluttering service. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse the service if any hazardous conditions are identified.
• The decluttering service will focus on the areas specified by the winner and within the agreed 4-hour time limit. Any items removed will be disposed of in accordance with local waste disposal regulations. The winner is responsible for any items that require special disposal or recycling.
• Before and after photos of the decluttered areas must be allowed to be taken by the Organizer. These photos will be used for promotional purposes and shared on social media or other marketing materials. Any personal information visible in the photos will be removed or obscured to ensure privacy.

7. Publicity

• By entering the Competition, you consent to the use of any content submitted for promotional purposes by the Organiser, including but not limited to social media posts, websites, and advertisements. This does not include the use of your name or any personally identifiable information.

8. Data Protection

• Personal data provided by participants will be used solely for the purposes of the Competition and will not be shared with third parties without the participant's consent.
• By entering the Competition, you consent to the use of your personal data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

9. Liability

• The Organiser accepts no responsibility for any technical issues, network failures, or delays that prevent entries from being submitted.
• The Organiser will not be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct or indirect, arising from the Competition or the use of the prize, except where it is due to the Organisers negligence.

10. Amendments

• The Organiser reserves the right to amend or withdraw the Competition at any time without prior notice, including altering the prize or the terms and conditions.
